The Tesla Motors booth at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show will feature a very special creation. Dubbed the 2010 TAG Heuer Tesla Roadster, the one of a kind electric vehicle is the result of a partnership between electric car manufacturer Tesla Motors and Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer.
The car features an interior design signed by Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen, created with TAG Heuer design elements. These elements include a specially designed center console, purpose built to host a TAG Heuer concept watch. The watch itself will be revealed on March 18 in Basel.
The Tesla incorporates a TAG Heuer Meridiist mobile phone and a one-fifth second Heuer Limited Edition Stopwatch.
On the outside, the Roadster comes in Foucault Field Gray and features drawings inspired by the new TAG Heuer concept watch.
"TAG Heuer has a rich history and expertise with the world's most prestigious racing teams -- but this is the first ever partnership we've forged with an electric sports car company," Jean-Christophe Babin, President and CEO of TAG Heuer said in a release.
"We believe that high-performance drivers are increasingly searching for products that are efficient, socially responsible and stylish. TAG Heuer and Tesla are two of the few companies already achieving these ideals today."
autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
