T3 Electric Service Sum-Up

Ever heard of T3 (not Terminator 3, no)? If you haven't then you must have seen it, trekking along on your cities' streets wearing different enforcement agencies' logos. It is, as you might have guessed, one of the many yet unknown electric vehicles which, for better or worse, are playing their part in saving the planet and ushering a new age in motoring.

The T3 is being manufactured by T3 Motion and comes in the form of a series of electrically powered vehicles, ranging from car-like machines to Segway-inspired standup vehicles. Together, they have managed to save, according to the official figures provided by the company, 12,000 tons of CO2 and $9 million in fuel since their deployment in 2007.

That number is about to go up, once the company launches on the market the new T3 GT3, a strange looking car, with a single wheel on the rear axle and a very friendly look at the front. Powered by lithium polymer batteries, the car will be capable of reaching 70 mph and will have a range of 80 to 100 miles.

“To further this impact, we are leveraging my eleven years of experience in developing electric vehicle technology,” said Ki Nam, T3 Motion CEO about what the new vehicle will mean for the company “with our debut of the GT3, our three-wheeled, energy-efficient vehicle that embodies the perfect marriage of design sophistication and plug-in electric vehicle technology.”

“We are confident that our increasing influence as an environmentally-friendly brand initiative will help us reach our full potential as a leader in clean technology transportation,”
said Ki Nam, T3 Motion.
