Suzuki has released UK pricing information for the all-new SX4 S-Cross, the company’s first C segment crossover vehicle. Scheduled to go on sale on October 1, the new SX-4 S-Cross will be priced from £14,999.
The crossover will become available with either 1.6-liter petrol or 1.6-liter diesel engines that are said to offer class leading emission and low fuel consumption, with the 2WD diesel version returning 67.2 mpg combined and emitting only 110g/km of CO2.
The petrol unit delivers 120 HP and 156 Nm (115 lb-ft) of torque, while the diesel is rated at 120 HP and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque. While the petrol engine can be paired to either a five-speed manual or a CVT, the diesel mill is offered exclusively with a six-speed manual and a start-stop system. Both powerplants can be equipped with Suzuki’s new ALLGRIP four-wheel drive system that comes with four modes: auto, sport, snow, and lock.
All four grades available for the SX4 S-Cross - SZ3, SZ4, SZ-T, and SZ5 - will be equipped with seven airbags and ESP as standard, while luggage capacity in now rated at 430 liters. In addition, Suzuki brags that the SX4 S-Cross can be fitted with the “world’s first double sliding panoramic grass sun roof”.
