The new Suzuki SX4 S-Cross has been awarded with a 5-star overall safety rating by Euro NCAP, after performing well in the institute’s crash tests for adult protection, child safety pedestrian protection and safety assist.
The Japanese vehicle performed notably well on its pedestrian protection and passenger protection, the latter thanks to Suzuki’s new Total Effective Control Technology (TECT), which was developed for occupant-protecting impact absorption.
On sale in the United Kingdom as we speak, the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross is fitted with an active and passive safety features such as a speed limiter, ESP, seatbelt reminder for all seats, and seven airbags.
In related news, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee was also awarded with Euro NCAP’s top safety rating, receiving 92 percent for occupant protection and 74 percent in ESC safety assist.
