Suzuki has just released a promotional video for one of their next year models, the Inazuma 250.
The new bike is a semi-naked commuter, most likely aiming for the Asian markets but still with chances to be sold in the US and European countries, the Inazuma 250 (GW250). The new bike is an open adversary for the Honda CBR250 and the Kawasaki 300 Ninja, but its design is rather on the poor side, compared to the two.

The Inazuma 250 will probably retail for a low price as an incentive, but its styling is not that 2013 as we hoped. The bike is also a bit heavier than we thought it would be, and it's obvious that it will be no match for the 300 Ninja, as far as specs and performance are concerned.

The CBR250 is even lighter and both the Honda and the Kawasaki are directly derived from sport bikes, whereas the Inazuma is not. The 2013 Inazuma 250 is expected to deliver around 24 HP and good mileage so it will definitely find a lot of customers among the young and those looking for a cheaper commuter bike, but we're not convinced it will really shake the market.

With an expected prince around $4,350 (€3,380), the 2013 Suzuki Inazuma 250 will be quite affordable, and if the road performance will also be great, we might say the small-displacement bikes are really making a comeback.
