The info on this new Special Edition Suzuki is yet scarce, but nevertheless, here goes the short story. Suzuki fans and especially those who like to own and ride a bike which differs from the stock ones at least by its livery will be able to get a new version of the GSX 1250FA machine, which also got an extra Z suffix.
It’s not exactly sure whether the new GSX 1250FAZ will be a model sold only one of the Atlantic shores or in both markets, but so far the news comes from the UK, via visordown and our left-side-of-the-road fellows have already dug for its price. The special (livery) edition of the GSX 1250FA can be bought in the UK for £8,110 (€10,195 or $13,880), with a modest £110 (€140 or $190) price increase over the stock version of the machine.
The Z-suffixed version of the GSX 1250FA comes with red and black stripes. Now, a quick look around on the internet also showed a similar two-tone blue livery dubbed “2014 GSX 1250FAZ Limited Edition” with the same price and we’ve also attached some phots of it. The bikes look pretty similar, but we still have to delve deeper for more info. Seeing Suzuki revealing two liveries for yet another SE bike is only making things even funnier.
It looks like we’re looking at the same 1255cc, DOHC 4 in-line liquid-cooled engine, with a very low peak torque point at 3,700 rpm, and which should be exceedingly fun to ride daily both in the urban environment and for longer hauls. Even more the GSX 1250FA was a great sport-touring bike when equipped with panniers and Suzuki replacing the clip-ons with traditional handlebars adding a lot of comfort for long rides.
