The Japanese manufacturer’s new electric vehicle concept might give an idea of a perfect combination between an eco-friendly car and the leisure space at home when diving toward the crowded streets sitting comfortable on a couch. Suzuki has introduced its electric vehicle prototype in the Kizashi Kicks campaign. The couch EV is a part of the advertising campaign, and is participating on a road show which has covered Pittsburg and New Jersey so far.

The EV is scheduled to cover areas like Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, New York and Vermont. The couch comes with a 48-volt Club car motor being charged by eight six-volt heavy duty deep cycle batteries. The manufacturer has kept the dimensions of the car unchanged and its present size is of 80 inches width, 36.5 inches depth and has a wheel base of almost 25 inches.

Having these top model figures the couch EV can easily squeeze itself trough congested lanes in the cities. Suzuki has not revealed so far any technical information about performance or range data. The wheels are electronically driven but there are no specifications available concerning its top speed. Which is a good thing to know if you do not want to spill your tea when you are traveling at high speed.

The EV couch has been fitted with single disc hydraulic brakes which are installed on the rear axle. The sofa vehicle can easily accommodate three people and in special cases four people can fit on the comfortable space. There are also advantages if ever you would ever consider in buying one of these EVs - for example you will have no worries about electric windows braking down.
