Building on a base which proves to be as solid as it looks promising, Suzuki is facing the ultimate stage in the development of their XRH-1 MotoGP motorcycle: making it competitive while running the Magneti Marelli ECU.
Suzuki will rejoin MotoGP in 2015, and this means all the grid will be using the Marelli ECU. Factory teams can choose to write their own software, at the expense of being allowed to load only 20 liters of fuel, whereas the teams running the spec software get to ride with 24 liters.

The test at Misano and Mugello provided even more data to prepare the bike for the 2015 debut. Randy De Puniet and Nobuatsu Aoki still have one year to help Davide Brivio and Suzuki ready a bike which can ride shoulder to shoulder with the "big boys", namely Yamaha and Honda.

From the test using the old Mitsubishi ECU, the XRH-1 is all over the rear wheel of Ducati, so if Suzuki can make a factory machine to actually pose a real threat to the other works team, then we're looking forward for a most interesting 2015 season.
