Here's the third episode of the Suzuki MotoGP development documentary, a brief description of the road the house of Hamamatsu treads back to the premier class motorcycle racing.
The present piece focuses on the public unveiling of the XRH-1 bike with its shiny blue livery, and the tests Suzuki and Randy De Puniet had in Spain, at the Catalunya and Motorland Aragon circuits.

The Barcelona test was extremely significant as the bike was pitted against the best machines in the series and Randy's best time with the development motorcycle saw him in a rewarding 8th position, 0.77s seconds behind Jorge Lorenzo, who was the fastest rider of the sessions.

Motorland Aragon came as a new good stage, with the Suzuki XRH-1 climbing to around half a second off the circuit's MotoGP record.

Even though this final value is not the best way to measure the bike's competitiveness under proper racing conditions, it still offers plenty of hope to Suzuki and can serve as a guide for the engineers.
