Suzuki Kizashi Tops Owner Satisfaction Charts

Suzuki’s new sports sedan has managed to top the charts in AutoPacific’s 14th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards in the United States. The Japanese sports sedan placed first not only in its segment, but highest overall amongst all 2010 model year vehicles.

The AutoPacific award is an industry benchmark that determines consumer satisfaction for the new car market. The benchmark rates cars in 48 separate categories deemed key factors for vehicle owners.

The benchmark was comprised of a poll of over 42,000 new vehicle owners and the Suzuki Kizashi scored highest in overall satisfaction for all new purchased or leased vehicles. The car’s final score was 99 points above the industry average.

Suzuki of Australia is proud of the car’s achievement and is certain the model will have the same success on the local market as well. “This is tremendous feedback from satisfied owners. The Kizashi continues the long Suzuki tradition of offering the highest levels of value and customer satisfaction,” said Suzuki Australia general manager Tony Devers.

“With its combination of stunning design, outstanding performance and high levels of safety, we are extremely confident of seeing similar levels of satisfaction here in Australia,” continued Devers.

Fitted with a potent 2.4L petrol engine developing 185 hp at 6500 rpm and a choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive layout, the company looks to redefine the Suzuki brand globally with their new Kizashi. The Japanese car maker just released the new 2011 Kizashi Sport model and still looks to market a hybrid version in the near future as well.
