Suzuki iM-4 is the other concept presented by the Japanese brand in Geneva after the iK-2 prototype, but it touches other potential areas of interest for customers like 4x4, small size and low fuel consumption. Is that even possible? Can you have them all?
According to Suzuki, you could but only if their iM-4 prototype will go into production as the new Jimny or at least give away some if its characteristic for the next-generation Jimny. But we’ll see about that.

The concept shares the same platform with the iK-2 and is powered by a 1.2-liter DUALJET (goodbye, funny engine names) engine and a SHVS mild hybrid system (integrated starter generator plus a lithium-ion battery pack) that pledges low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Besides that, the concept is using an all-wheel drive system to go beyond the regular city roads and it might just be successful in doing that because the ground clearance also looks like a big plus for the iM-4 prototype. We don’t know why but the front grille - headlights combination is reminding us of the Dacia Sandero Stepway, although it’s quite clear the Suzuki’s concept is cuter than Dacia’s offspring.

We also like the minimalistic design approach and the Innocent White paint job that makes it look like a panda who lost its bamboo stick. The iM-4 concept is definitely falling in the small side of 4x4s, because according to Suzuki, it is 3,693 mm (145 in) long, 1,709 (67.2 in) mm wide and 1,566 mm (61.6 in) tall, while the wheelbase measures 2,438 mm (96 in).
