At the Tokyo Motor Show, Suzuki showed a very cool electric bike concept called Extrigger. Nobody knows whether the cool idea will ever make it into mass production, but I am positive I am not the only one who wishes they did.
The bike looks like a mixture between the tall stance of a motocross and the aggressive, street-focused wheels and generic architecture of a supermoto machine. It looks pretty small, so I guess tall riders will not feel exactly comfortable riding it as it is. However, such monkey bikes are not exactly made for big guys.
It looks like the motor comes from the e-Let electric scooter, possibly re-geared for more punch. As for the rest, it would be very nice to see the Extrigger making it into production with the aluminium frame and USD forks the concept shows.
