Suzuki brings new for the racing world, as the Hamamatsu team confirms the planned return to MotoGP starting with the 2015 season, after a 2-year absence.
Suzuki reports having organized a new team with Davide Brivio as Team Manager and Randy de Puniet as official development rider. The bike is, as reported earlier, an 1000cc in-line four, and this week brings the first official test, at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.

No further details have been given, as to which team would Suzuki tie up with or who will will be the official factory riders. There is a lot of talking about Suzuki thinking about Cal Crutchlow and Aleix Espargaro as the factory rider duo, but this is only paddock gossip, at least until official statements are made.

We also got wind that Dorna could (theoretically) expand again the grid, but again, these are only rumors. However, with all the changes planned for MotoGP through the next years, we could expect pretty much anything.

We'll be back with news on Suzuki's testing session.
