Suzuki declares that they will start offering all the benefits of the Datatag Master Security System for all the new bikes sold from this month onwards.
Suzuki is thus the 6th major bike manufacturer to adopt the Datatag system, along with BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, Triumph and Yamaha. The customers will receive the official Master Security System elements fitted on their new bikes and thus registered in the police database.
The installation of the security kit will be made free of charge at the point of the pre-delivery inspection, with the customers being notified of the installed components and their location, as well as the ways to verify them.
Paul de Lusignan, Suzuki UK General Manager comments on the initiative: "Motorcycle theft is a significant consideration for every customer, so to reduce the chance of theft is something everyone should support. As an industry we came together last year and agreed that the Master Security System offered the best solution. With dealer agreement too, we're delighted to offer a free kit, fully fitted for no extra cost on every new Suzuki sold. We hope this extra line of defence gives our customers increased peace of mind."
