Suzuki Apprentices Celebrate Graduation

Suzuki presented 34 young apprentices with their Graduation certificates during a Graduation ceremony at The National Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon. The candidates had spent three years studying on their block release programme. as well as within their respective dealerships to graduate with this sought after qualification.

The Suzuki Advanced Apprenticeship Programme offers hands-on roles, including Automobile Service Technician, Motorcycle Service Technician, ATV Service Technician and Aftersales Advisor.

During a three year apprenticeship candidates will work to achieve nationally recognised qualifications in their chosen area of specialization. In return for their commitment the candidates get: full-time employment at a Suzuki dealership; block release tuition at a Suzuki dedicated, state-of-the-art training facility, all training and qualifications paid for by the employing dealer, as well as a fully structured career path including the opportunity to enter National Skills Awards.

Among the attendees at the event was the IMI's (Institute of the Motor Industry) Chief Operating Officer Linda Stansfield who stated that "The IMI is very proud to support and recognise the Graduating Technicians and Parts and Aftersales Advisors and applauds Suzuki’s commitment in forming a strong foundation for its network staff as well as building a secure future.”
