Surf Champ Gwen Spurlock Picks Skoda Roomster

The British division of Skoda recently announced that British women’s surf champion Gwen Spurlock has recently received the keys to her new Skoda Roomster SE 1.2 TSI 85bhp. The 19-year-old athlete confessed she chose the Roomster for its storage capabilities, as she needs that amount of space to carry her surfboard and all her equipment.

Spurlock has just been awarded first place in the Women’s Individual 2010 British Universities and Colleges Sport Surf Championships. Last year she was crowned UK Pro Surf Tour Women's Champion and has also held the Welsh Junior and British Junior titles.

“I chose the Roomster because it looks cool and there’s plenty of room inside for my surfboard and equipment. Sinclair Skoda was recommended by friends and the service I received has been great,” stated Spurlock.

In the UK, the Roomster is available from GBP11,260 on the road, with boot capacity ranging from 450 to 1810 litres and incorporating a massive number of storage options.
