The legendary BMW E46 M3 was a trailblazer ever since it was released, back in 2000. It featured a naturally aspirated 3.2-liter engine that still holds the record for the highest specific output reached by such an engine (from BMW, of course), with its 343 HP and 269 lb-ft (365 Nm) of torque.
It was an impressive machine back then, and it still is today. That's why Supersprint took its time when developing a custom exhaust for the beast that revved well over 8,000 RPM.
Through their 55 years of experience, the Italian engineers developed a truly amazing exhaust system. As usual, when it comes to their systems, you can get your own custom kit, depending on how you want it to sound.
They have a wide range of headers, center sections and rear mufflers that can be combined any way you desire. Every piece is made to comply with OEM measurements and is built out of 100% stainless steel. The diameter of the pipes is 80 mm (3.2 inches) but you can change the tailpipes.
Furthermore, even though the custom system completely changes the car's sound and the weight savings are considerable (over 14 kg/30 lb) you'll even get 20 HP and 14 Nm (10 lb-ft) of torque extra.
