Superchips Kits for Dodge Ram 4.7l

If you were in the mood for a bit more juice from your 2008 Dodge Ram 4.7l, then the new tuning packages from Superchips are exactly what you need. The tuner provides two new additions, the Dodge Gas Flashpaq and the Cortex, both designed to deliver "impressive horsepower and torque to the wheels."

Performance wise, the tuning kit provide enhanced throttle response and shift adjustments, torque management, optimized shift firmness, raise rev limiter and noticeable drivability improvements.

In terms we can all understand and enjoy, the Ram receives an additional 48 horsepower at 4,700 rpm and an extra 50 lb.-ft. of torque at the same rev level, when equipped with Superchips 91-Octane performance tune.

A bit less power (40 extra horsepower at 4,700 RPM and 42 lb.-ft of extra torque at 4700 RPM) can be squeezed from the Ram when using the Superchips 87-Octane performance tune.

Both the Gas Flashpaq and the Cortex include features which allows them to be used as diagnostic scan tools. They can be used for real-time in-cabin vehicle sensor display, vehicle performance data logger, recalibrate for tire diameter and axle gear changes, re-calibration for transfer case gear changes, adjust cooling fan settings and real-time idle up for running accessories.

"The workhorse 4.7L is now even more exciting for street, tow and trail uses with Superchips tuning. Flashpaq and Cortex both include multiple performance and towing tunes while working out of the box with most cold-air intakes and cat-back free-flowing exhaust systems," says the tuner.
