The One Lap Of America is over and the grueling 5,000 mile (8000km) course picked its winners. BMW cars were more than good for this event, winning no less than the top 3 spots in the Luxury sedan class.
Active Autowerke's Supercharged BMW E90 M3 won 1st place in its class for the 3rd year in a row now, proving, once again, that their superchargers are more than reliable and that BMW engines are just as good as ever.
That's not the only good result for Active Autowerke, though. With this year's win, they managed to achieve an impressive performance that few tuning companies (and even proper car manufacturers) can say are able to do too. Their supercharged cars won 1st in class for 6 years in a row. Outstanding!
The Tire Rack One Lap of America is the toughest 8 days of racing in the country, featuring the fastest street legal cars on America's most challenging racetracks. It’s a nearly twenty-four hours a day driving challenge for over 60 teams with competition taking place as time trials on race tracks throughout the country.
