We've talked about the Hennessey Mustang before. The HPE700 is basically a supercharger kit for the V8 model that pushes 717+ hp. It's basically a Dodge Hellcat fighter that comes out of the box. The HPE700 Mustang will do 0 to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and the quarter mile in 11.2 seconds. That's not bad for a pony car that started out at only $35,000.
Hennessey previously told us the crank output sits at 717 hp and 632 lb-ft (856 Nm), while the dyno run shows 663 horses and 525 lb-ft ( 711 Nm) of twist at the rear wheels. This aftermarket package starts with a 2.9-liter supercharger system and also adds HPE air induction, bigger fuel injectors, upgraded fuel pump, a new engine management map and all the clips, gaskets and fluids you need.
John is definitely a man with a tuning plan. After creating the unofficial fastest car in the world, the Venom GT, he went on to modify everything from Ford Fiestas to Camaros. So of course he wold have an awesome 2015 Mustang that reaches supercar speeds.
