We all know Australians are just crazy about drag racing and hooning all sorts of locally-built Fords and Holdens down the drag strip. Not to mention some of the awkward dragsters we've seen recently, including a six-cylinder Hemi Chrysler Centura and a turbocharged Ford Cortina.
Now we're back with more straight line Australian action to show you a supercharged V8 hot rod that can pull some awesome 8-second quarter mile runs. Wearing a classic five-window Ford body, the 600+ coupe crosses the 1320 line at more than 148 miles per hour each time and defeats its rivals effortlessly.

See it in launching like a rocket and doing some awesome wheel stands in the video below, which was shot at the Sydney Dragway, the place that provided us with loads of cool videos in the past.
