Superbike with No Front Brakes Crashes

Sport bikes are real fun on twisting roads, but as thrilling as acceleration is, being able to slow down properly is paramount.
When riding hard, certain parts of a bike are stressed quite much and failing to check everything thoroughly before a race could lead to nasty results.

This video shows how wrong things can go when the front brakes are no longer working. How come they're not working? Well, the brake pad holding bolt fell off, maybe after it's safety pin got lost. And since the bolt was the one keeping pads in place, one of the pads flew away, leaving the bike with no front brakes.

The rider tried to avoid what was rapidly turning into a head-on collision with the bike ahead and rear-braked hard, resulting in two bikes highsiding on an adjacent gravel patch.

Despite the brutal crash, both riders allegedly walked away from the site, one broken hand and one injured shoulder added to the damage list.
