Those who have attended this year’s Super Bowl event have certainly seen the Arlington Police Department officers patrolling the 140-acre grounds on some funny-looking personal mobility vehicles. There were in fact ten T3 Series Electric Stand-up Vehicles (ESV) deployed by the Arlington PD to assist security measures for the Super Bowl XLV.
The T3 Series provides a low cost of operation, at less than 10 cents per day, and two re-chargeable, swappable batteries. The vehicle has 24/7 operation with unlimited range, zero-degree turning radius, speeds up to 20 mph (32 km/h) and a 9-inch raised platform.
"The Arlington PD using our clean-energy vehicles for enormous national events such as the Super Bowl is a testament to its necessity for crowd control and maneuverability," stated Ki Nam, T3 Motion, Inc. CEO.

NORAD fighter jets, snipers, chemical and biological detection devices, and bomb-retrieving robots are among the many security measures taken throughout the event.
