Subaru WRX Games is Pet Friendly

The Subaru WRX Games, scheduled to take place on August 1, at the Fairplex, in Pomona, California is an event free to the public, where guests are encouraged to bring their dogs. For an interesting experience for you and your pet, you can register here. "We're excited to host the WRX Games as the Subaru Rally Team USA readies for another X Games rally," said Todd Lawrence, promotional and sponsorship manager, Subaru of America, Inc. "The event will allow owners, as well as non-owners, to experience what it's like to be part of the Subaru community." According to Subaru, the day's festivities will include:
  • 2010 Legacy 2.5GT Driving Experience: A custom course to give you an idea on the handling of Subaru's standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
  • Subaru Freestyle Gymkhana: Earn WRX Games bragging rights as you drive alongside a professional driver and compete against other guests in this timed driving competition.
  • Subaru Game On: You will race against the clock as well as opponents in a tent wired with Subaru racing video games.
  • Need for Speed: You race remote-controlled model Subaru cars around a rally stage, complete with jumps and tire-shredding turns.
  • Gone To The Dogs: In the Subaru doggie tent there will be serving up plenty of fresh, cold water and treats for your four-legged friend.
  • Subaru Car Show: Enter your Subaru and compete to win Subaru Rally Gear, Subaru reward dollars and other great prizes. Awards will be given in multiple categories.
