Photos of Subaru’s WRX Concept have surfaced on the Internet ahead of it’s reveal at the New York Auto Show press day this week.
The “Subaru WRX Concept” engraved rear license plates in the photos are confirming that this could be the next WRX performance sedan, and judging by the looks, it is separated from the Impreza range, having it’s own design line.
It is not certain that this will be the next Subaru WRX, actually we don’t know if this is even a rendering or the real deal digitally modified to look like a rendering, as rumors say. All we can say is that it sure looks good, unlike it’s predecessors who were more about performance than visual style. Even if the automaker ditches the concept exaggerations like the buffed fenders, slim door mirrors and the massive diffuser, it will still be a hell of a nice looking performance sedan.
Performance details are nowhere near being known, but rumors are hinting toward an electric turbocharger being fitted on the car.
