Subaru of America has announced an impressive increase in their November sales figures, which have risen by 60%, when compared to last year’s record. They are on their way to surpassing the 300,000 unit mark by the end of the year, as they have already sold 299,788, through November (266,989 units sold in the same time frame, in 2011).
Officials estimate that by the end of the year, they will have sold in excess of 330,000 units, if the ascending trend persists. COO of the US branch of Subaru, Tom Doll stated: "The products are sized and styled more for American tastes, and the price points have a lot of do with it -- plus all the segments we compete in are growing."

In the 2013, they hope to sell around 350,000 units, as they target the 400,000 mark by the end of the 2016 fiscal year. Also, since the all-new Forester crossover goes on sale in March of 2013, as a 2014 model, and the old model had been slowly phased out this year, they will most likely reach or exceed their set targets, if the market remains stable, and they can keep up with demand, as it has exceeded supply expectations for the BRZ coupe and the XV Crosstrack crossover.
