Subaru had a great year in the United States, as the Japanese car manufacturer managed to pull the unthinkable and sold more cars in 2009 than in 2008. And you have to agree that this is quite an accomplishment, especially as only few automakers were able to do that.
Thanks to the big sales, the marketing budgets are okay, so Subaru thought about bringing back the Master of the Mountain. This means that the Subaru Master the Mountain team is back and ready to travel to ski resorts across the United states bringing music, giveaways, and free activities.
Subaru says that its customers love the outdoors, so Master of the Mountain is meant to draw some attention towards the Japanese brand. The campaign has some serious history behind it, as the Subaru Master the Mountain team has been entertaining people for 15 years.
"Subaru has a long history of hosting events with which our customers identify," said Tim Mahoney, senior vice president and CMO for Subaru of America, Inc. "Master the Mountain remains a terrific fit for our company and vehicle owners."
Ski enthusiasts will be able to test the latest Nordica skies, have mini ski and snowboard sessions, pick-up complimentary skiing tips in the Subaru learning lane, enjoy behind the scenes mountain tours and watch avalanche rescue demonstrations.
The Subaru Master the Mountain team will be present at different locations:
California
Colorado
New Mexico
Utah
Washington
