The vehicle's 2.0 liter turbocharged Boxer powerplant has received a turbo upgrade (new ball-bearings for its twin-scroll turbocharger) and an ECU remap, with the unit delivering 308 hp and a maximum torque of 430 Nm (317 lb-ft).
The vehicle also comes with nimbler handling, as it has been fitted with reinforced cross members for the front suspension, a mechanical rear limited slip differential (this replaces the Torsen one), Bridgestone "POTENZA RE070" (245/40R18) tires, as well as a power steering tweak (an increase of the oil flow volume in the power steering system).
The spec C has been put on a diet, with the car receiving an aluminum engine hood and a downsized battery, lighter laminar glass for the front and side windows, as well as new 18-inch alloy rims.
Other goodies include a revised fuel pump, Brembo brake calipers finished in gold, as well as front bucket seats (a set of Recaros is optional).
