Subaru Impreza WRX STI to Get Japan-only tS Edition with Carbon Roof

Here’s one good reason to move to Japan: The Subaru Impreza WRX STI, a vehicle that offers one of the best performance for money packages on the market is set to receive a new (set of) enhancement(s) that will only be available for the Japanese domestic market.

Ok, this might not be enough to convince you to start a new life in the Land of the Rising Sun, but if we consider the fact that the Japanese car enthusiasts are constantly treated with new go-fast goodies, the evaluation process might change a bit.

We’d certainly like to live in a country that has given the world loony vehicles like the GT-R, the Evo and the WRX STI. We’d just like to mention that the language barrier isn’t a problem for car aficionados: the gas pedal is the one on the right, no matter where you live. But we’ll leave you to find your own reasons for such a move and get to the point.

Subaru’s Japanese website has published a teaser image of an upcoming incarnation of the Impreza WRX STI tS. The company is only allowing us to see that the special version of the vehicle will come with a carbon roof, but this is enough to get us dreaming. We have to mention that the English version of the site hasn’t been gifted with this release - this is why we expect the development to be a Japan-only goodie. By the way, tS can be translated as “Tuned by STI”.
