Subaru Gets 1 Million Facebook Fans, Says Thanks for the Love

Slowly but surely, Subaru of America has managed to top the 1 Million mark on its Facebook page. To thank its customers and fans for the continued support, they’ve released a digital flipbook from the photos submitted by the owners.
Founded in 1968, Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) is the U.S. Sales and Marketing subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) of Japan for the distribution of cars in the United States.

All their cars have a boxer engine and all except one have Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Today, the Subaru product line includes the Subaru Impreza, WRX, STI, BRZ, Subaru Legacy, Subaru Outback, Subaru Forester, and Subaru Tribeca.

The first Subaru car in America was the 360, a very interesting kei car from Japan imported starting in 1965 by Malcolm Bricklin. It was him and his partner Harvey Lamm that founded the company.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
