As with the Toyota GT 86 and Scion FR-S, the Subaru BRZ will receive some minor updates, both visual and functional as the two Japanese automakers are set to continuously enhance their joint project while keeping it affordable.
Mechanically, the BRZ will receive the same enhanced bolts to tighten the suspension along with redesigned shock absorbers to make the car even more agile through corners and enhance the steering feedback.

As with its sister car, the Subaru coupe gets two new colors, including a more vivid WR Blue Pearl, a shark-fin roof antenna an different-pattern plastic trimmings inside.

Extra upgrade with the BRZ is a new key fob, while the 2-liter boxer engine remains exactly the same, ‘boasting’ 200 hp of which around 170-180 reach the rear wheels.

The updated Subaru BRZ is said to go on sale in Japan on June, following to reach worldwide markets about the same time. But would it make any sense in getting this instead putting a few grands more over it price and get the WRX?

It doesn’t look that sporty, but it comes with the turbocharged version of the 2-liter boxer which maker 271 hp and 349 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, which is also mated to a six-speed transmission that turns all the wheels.
