These guys have to be the most idiotic and pathetic car thieves ever, shaming the “trade” by posting pictures of themselves and the stolen goods on social media websites.
A gang of UK prolific car thieves was busted after posting pictures of themselves posing with the stolen cars on Facebook. One of them made a sandwich packed with a wad of £20 bills and posted a picture of him “eating” it. Plain dumb...
The gang was operating by surveilling houses with expensive cars parked in the drive way or garage, then breaking in and stealing the keys along with other valuable stuff. The nicked vehicles include Range Rovers, Porsches, BMWs and a £80,000 Mercedes C63 AMG.
It was enough for the police to find one of them posing with stolen goods to catch the other ones red-handed, as they were social media-related to each-other. The thieves aged between 18 to 23-years-old were caught and sentenced to jail.
