Stunt Rider Flees from Police

Doing a circle wheelie while stopped at night at a traffic light is not that dangerous... usually. There have been however, cases with riders losing control of their bikes which subsequently crashed in other vehicles and caused serious damage, so that's basically why law usually forbid this type of riding.

Sometimes riders get away with a warning, but one can't be always sure. Now, doing a circle wheelie near a police car may be seen as some kind of taunting and things could get worse than a warning. Fleeing away might be a solution, though not legal and it could easily develop into something very nasty in case the police officer in the car has great driving skills.

We saw more than one rider getting caught by police cars, and we can vouch for things ending up with so much more than a warning...
