Stunning Metallic Brown Brabus G65 AMG for Sale in Britain

A few years ago, Audi pulled the plug on the V12 TDI engine it offered on the Q7. Sure, it had 500 horsepower and made the big SUV go really fast, but it also came with unreasonable fuel consumption. Who in their right mind would ever buy a V12 SUV, right? But Mercedes doesn't play by the same rules as Audi does, so it did the exact opposite.

Over a year ago, they rocked the premium car market with the G63 AMG, the SUV everybody wanted but didn't know yet. From celebrities to football players and just about anybody else who could afford one, the twin-turbo V8 monster became a smashing success story. However, the guys in Affalterbach had even more devious plans, including the first-ever G-Class with a V12 engine, also launched in 2013.

If the G-Class is the flagship of the Mercedes SUV range, this is the flagship of the flagship range then! The twin-turbo V12 is shared with some of the biggest headline grabbers Mercedes has ever made, including the SL65 AMG and S65 AMG.

Because they're as expensive as supercars and drink a lot of fuel, most G65 AMG models are shipped off to the Emirates, the place where they best belong. So imagine our surprise when we discovered this one locked away in a British showroom with so many features on show and a relatively attractive price tag.

Underneath that sexy metallic brown paint sits a full body kit from German tuning specialists Brabus. They haven't gone bonkers with the car and changed just enough so that the G65 became more muscular. There's a carbon hood scoop, bigger alloys and reshaped front bumper. The interior is dressed in a combination of brown and black, which isn't going to be to everyone's taste.

The seller, Pegasus Auto House, was established in 2008 as a provider of luxury automobiles or customers around the world. They want no less than £202,000 (€256,300) for this very rare and powerful machine and we think it's totally worth it, considering it's only got 6,800 miles (11,000 km) on the clock. Here's where you can find it.
