Stunning BMW 2002 Is Somebody’s Daily Driver

If it was up to you to choose one of BMW’s iconic cars from over the years to be your daily driver, what would you pick? To me, it would be a really hard choice as there are plenty of models from older days up there along with modern alternatives. And no, they don’t include front-wheel drive abominations.
Some of my choices would be rather peculiar to be honest. Some might frown hearing that I’d like to own a fully specced 550i GT but that thing is a seriously underrated car. However, I’d also like an old-school 2002 with a manual gearbox and an impeccable engine under the bonnet. Something like the one in the video below.

However, I wouldn’t necessarily go the way this owner did. Sure, the wheels look nice and all but that ground clearance simply makes me shiver just by glancing at it. Yeah, I don’t like severely dropped cars, especially when they hold a dear place in a manufacturer’s history.

The 2002 was amongst the pioneers leading the revolution over at BMW. It was heralded as an incredibly agile car that was .... simply put... capable of doing a lot of things others couldn’t back then.

It was even introduced to Motorsport and basically started a chapter in BMW’s history that would later on include even wins in the Formula 1 championships. The biggest merit however is that it helped create the M cars we have today so you know it will never be forgotten.

This here is just one of the 2002s that are still going, even after 40 years and that’s impressive, no matter how you look at it. But if you were to pick a classic BMW to be your daily driver, what would it be?
