The BMW F06 M6 Gran Coupe is, arguably, the most beautiful car the Germans are currently making. Unlike its non-M brothers, the hardcore 4-door coupe rises above, with wider wheel arches and a more aggressive design that fits its mad personality perfectly.
And mad as a hatter it is. With a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the bonnet, making 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque, the sleek 6er is faster and more enjoyable at the limit even than the master M5 and that’s no little thing.
Even the sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes less, the 7-speed dual-clutch DCT transmission taking the M6 Gran Coupe to the benchmark speed in 4.2 seconds, while the Sedan is slower at 4.4 seconds.
They share the same chassis and a lot of other parts and they even weight roughly the same, at 1,950 kg (4.299 lbs) but yet, somehow, the Gran Coupe is faster. That means that some people might be really hard pressed to choose between the two. Not after you look at these pictures.
The car below is an Alpine White M6 Gran Coupe wearing a complete Arkym body kit made up of a front lip spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirts and trunk spoiler, all of them small add-ons that create an impressive effect altogether.
