This month’s Mecum Auctions sale in Monterey is bound to become a very interesting event with a lot of musclecars to be hammered, including the 1966 Shelby GT350H we showed you last week and the incredible all-original 1969 Boss 429 you’re about to see below.
Although any Boss 429 can be described as an amazing machine, this specific black Mustang is more than that because it still has all of its original parts (no restoration done) and only 902 miles on its odometer. In fact, its former owner say “there isn’t a nut or a bolt or a screw or a sticker or decal that isn’t original to that car”.

And he’s right. The Boss 429 comes with an intact window sticker, a factory-mounted Autolite battery and factory plastic wraps on the seat belts, steering wheel and passenger seat. The musclecar will be auctioned off on August 16 and Mecum estimates it will fetch between $600,000 and $750,000.

• KK #1354
