As amazing as the latest mid-engine Corvette C8 is, buyers will have to wait a few more years before the flagship ZR1 version is revealed. Until that day comes, the most extreme and track-focused Vette to ever wake the dead upon start-up remains the C7 ZR1.
Unveiled at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show as a 2019MY car, the C7 ZR1 introduced an all-new 6.2-liter supercharged LT5 V8 engine, rocking a new fuel injection system. With the help of an 8-speed automatic gearbox (in this case), that V8 sends 755 hp (765 PS) and 715 lb-ft (969 Nm) of torque to a set of high-performance Michelin tires, resulting in a sub-3-second 0 to 60 mph (96 kph) acceleration time.

It’s one heck of a supercar, which is why used examples will still cost an arm and a leg, especially if they’ve barely been driven. On sale through Bring a Trailer, this one has only covered 471 miles (758 km), so it not only looks good as new, but it probably is too. Back in 2019, it cost $145,000, options included, and the bid is already up to $130,000 with three days left to go in the auction.

The car features a black over Spice Red aesthetic and is equipped with the ZTK Track Performance Package, as well as the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group. The former adds a higher fixed rear wing (for 60% more downforce), carbon fiber front splitter end caps, the Performance Ride and Handling suspension, plus Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires - as opposed to standard Michelin Super Sport rubber.

It also has Brembo ceramic brakes, red calipers, satin graphite wheels (19-inch front/20-inch rear), a black soft-top, underbody spoiler, rear brake cooling ducts, and carbon fiber tonneau cover inserts.

Meanwhile, the $10,000 3ZR Premium Equipment Group adds carbon fiber interior accents, suede microfiber trim, Bose premium sound system and Spice Red leather heated and ventilated seats. As for convenience, you get Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and 4G LTE connectivity for the infotainment system, as well as a color head-up display unit.

This is without a doubt one of the best-looking C7 ZR1 specs out there, and the fact that it can still hang with just about any supercar in the world in terms of performance should make its next owner extremely pleased.
