The adjacent video seems to bring a case of casual street racing, where the “contenders” aren’t strictly focused on the competitive state, but do engage in head-to-head acceleration contests from time to time. To put it shortly, this is one story that ends badly.
A Volkswagen Scirocco, a Porsche Cayman and a Ferrari 360 Spider were playing in Hong Kong on January 20, with the Prancing Horse being left behind. As you can see in the dashcam footage, the driver suddenly accelerates, but the rear end steps out and the 360 Spider ends up performing an unintended PIT manoeuvre on a taxi.
Once the two cars are untangled, the Ferrari driver decides to flee the scene, but it doesn’t take long before his lack of skill bites back again - the 360 Spider does some sort of a... 360-degree spin, hitting the curb in front of a petrol station, just ahead of the original crash location.
According to Hong Kong News, the police managed to trace the hit Ferrari subsequently, but the vehicle had been abandoned.
