One woman from Cornelius, Oregon partied so hard last weekend that, when she started feeling generous and wanting to spread the joy, she pulled into a drive-thru and poured booze into a stranger’s mouth.
Her bad luck made it so that she did all this in front of the cops. And this is why this makes the strangest DUI in a while, at least for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman in question, Elianna Aguilar-Aguilar, 23, doesn’t seem too fazed about it, judging by her booking photo. She later admitted to the cops that she’d been drinking (there was an open bottle of Hennessy in her car, so there was no use denying it) and smoking marijuana. She said she didn’t know the person in whose mouth she poured the alcohol, presumably from the same Hennessy bottle.

“ELIANNA AGUILAR-AGUILAR, 23, of Cornelius, rolls through a Taco Bell drive-thru RIGHT IN FRONT OF A SHERIFF'F OFFICE SERGEANT and then reaches through the open drive-thru window and pours alcohol into the employee’s mouth WHILE STILL IN HER CAR,” the Sheriff's Office writes on the official Facebook page.

The report doesn’t say what the employee’s reaction was, but Aguilar was arrested on the spot, without further incident.

“Ms. Aguilar was booked into jail on a charge of DUI-Alcohol. She blew a .12 BAC at the jail,” the same post notes.

Also on social media, the Sheriff's Office agrees that this arrest might seem fun at first sight, but is anything but, if you think of what could have happened if the police hadn’t been there to stop her from driving in that state. Drunk driving remains one of the leading cause of vehicular death, so taking Aguilar off the road and putting her behind bars for the night probably saved lives. Including her own.
