Lamborghini's Aventador is not as young as it used to be. It's actually quite common to see one in any major city across the world. On the other hand, this V12 monster is a seasoned veteran of the racing scene and its 700 horsepower engine packs one heck of a wallop.
Proving that a sharp dagger is better than a blunt hammer, a stock Aventador wins a drag race against a heavily modified third-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, packing 950 hp of turbocharged power. Putting its power down much better off the line, the bespoke supercar shows us how it's done, crossing the finish line at a speed of 271 km/h, reached in only 1,000 meters.

This race was organized at the now famous Moscow Mile, a long stretch of road near the Russian capital where cars like these can be pushed to the limit of their performance. In the Unlim 500+ class, you can race pretty much anything as long as it's fast, which sometimes results in weird parings, such as Nissan Juke versus Lamborghini Aventador. In the second race of the day, an 800 hp Juke has engine problems and fails to finish the race.

However, the GT-R twin-turbo engine that's been installed under that duct taped hood of a Juke has proven to be more than a match to Porsches and Ferraris in the past.
