Stingray 225SX, World’s Fastest Luxury Boat, Goes to UAE

At the much anticipated luxury lifestyle exhibition (Big Boys Toys 2011) taking place in the UAE these days, Stingray exhibits what is said to be the world’s fastest luxury boat in the 23-foot model category. The model, dubbed Stingray 225SSX carries a price tag of AED288,670 (nearly USD79,000 at the current exchange rate).

Available in two variants (sports-car red and a white colour with a red strip), the Stingray 225SX features a tinted windshield, an acrylic cockpit cover, LCD transom stereo remote, digital depth finder, automatic fire extinguishing system, and a battery on/off switch with safety key.

Performance wise, the boat is capable to reach maximum 320 horsepower when running in full gear. The model rides on Stingray’s next-generation Z-plane hull, and includes a hood scoop and a black racing stripe design. With the small block V8 power option, this sportboat reaches speeds in the mid 60s.
