We haven’t had such a good laugh in a while, to be honest, which is why we had to share this video with you. You know how great of an artist Stevie Wonder is, of course you do, but we’re more than certain you never knew how much of a funny, creative and kind person he truly is.
A while ago, Cedric the Entertainer chauffeured the soul icon in his Tesla Model S, an experience he talked about at the Conan talk show. No big deal with such an appearance, they both are great entertainers and good friends. The funny part came when Cedric started joking around, saying the Superstition singer asked him if he could hold the wheel instead.
“Stevie, Stevie, the car’s electric, not magic,” Cedric the Entertainer then told him. Autonomous cars are not yet here, but if Google had started testing theirs a couple of years earlier, they surely would have come in handy. The point is, the producers of The Late Late Show with James Corden must have found about this interview, considering the talk show host’s last guest in the carpooling karaoke gig is none other than Stevie Wonder himself.
Again, we had a blast watching the 10-minute video. Therefore, we’re not planning to ruin the surprise for you. We’d like to point out a couple of things, though. According to the soul legend, not everybody should pull out a harmonica and suddenly start playing it; at least James Corden shouldn’t.
Second of all, you should seriously consider buying a ticket to Stevie Wonder’s 20 city tour “Songs In The Key Of Life Performance,” a tour that kicks off on September 30 in Montreal and goes through November 24th at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
