Status Launches Sports and Leisure Trailer

Having a car with which you can go on vacation means nothing if you don't have an extra boot to store your swimsuit and your wife's entire wardrobe. If an extra boot is not available, you can always go out an buy a trailer, but that's not always easy given the fact that trailers are made for utility, and not beauty.

Enter the Status Sports and Leisure Trailer, one which blends both looks and practicality. Set to be launched on the market in October 2010, the trailer has been created for “a lifestyle market where the importance of the trailer aesthetics looking as good as the prestige towing vehicle is paramount.”

Built out of fiber-glass, the trailer houses two compartments with top opening hatches for individual access. Both compartments are fitted with LED lights and cargo net hooks. The total volume of the trailer is 2 cubic meters and it can carry a total load of nearly 500kg.

The Status Sports and Leisure Trailer will be available in 10 different standard colors (black, white, blue, red, maroon, orange, yellow, green, light gray and dark gray). No prices for it have been announced though.
