What do you get when you mix a loan-lover like the Land Rover Defender with a maritime theme? You get a Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting Edition. While its not going to be good if you want to use it on the open water, it’s still one heck of a luxury 4x4.

Unveiled at this year’s Essen Motor Show, the special edition vehicle comes from Brabus affiliate Startech. The car sports a bright white exterior finish which looks like that on any luxury yacht. The Defender 90 Yachting Edition rolls on 16-inch alloys wrapped around in wider tires measuring 267/75 R16. The running boards have been changed to new integrated ones with entrance lights.

Access to the car is done via keyless fob or by opening one of the doors. The stock grille has also been changed to an SVX custom model and new body-colored headlight covers have also been retrofitted.

The maritime theme is strongest on the inside of the car that sports all sorts of nautical references. Entering this luxury 4x4 you are greeted by a yacht-like wood flooring. The boring, functional seats have been replaced with new ones, covered in navy-blue leather with contrasting white stitching.

The same has also been done to the doors, dashboard and center console. The rear seats fold away neatly to the side, while the front one are made by Recaro and combine luxury with sporty looks. In addition, the shells of the seatbacks are painted white to match the exterior while the headliner is made from Alcantara finished in navy-blue.

A sport steering wheel, aluminum pedals and high-end infotainment system finish the list of interior modifications.
