Land Rover worked hard to make a new SUV that looks like its flaring on the road, which doe to a lighter chassis is partially true. Unfortunately, that also means the 2013 Range Rover is also a bit of a slender creature.
Brabus sister company Startech took it upon itself to improve the design by adding muscle where it was lacking the most, the front. The SUV has been equipped with a new front bumper with integrated spoiler, big LED daytime running lights at the top of the air intakes and bigger grille.
The company also offers custom interiors, large diameter wheels available in different colors and designs, plus a stainless steel exhaust system.
Of course, no Range Rover would be complete without getting aftermarket power. For the 3-liter diesel engine, Startech found they could add 40 hp to bring the total output to 300 hp. The all-important torque figure is also increased by 85 Nm (60 lb-ft) to 685 Nm (505 lb-ft). Thanks to this extra muscle, the SD 30S version of the SUV can act a little bit sportier, reaching 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and a new top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph).
