Detailed more than two months ago and publicly introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, Startech’s Range Rover Evoque LPG resurfaced to showcase its fuel efficient powertrain and unique light-to-dark blue in Essen today.
As we’ve previously mentioned, the Evoque LPG is the result of a cooperation between Startech and Prins and features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and an autogas system that injects LPG into the combustion chambers. This helps reduce CO2 emissions by about 15 percent and cut fuel expenses in half, while still producing 240 horsepower.
Startech also offers a PowerXtra SD 22 kit for the 2.2-liter diesel Evoque, which takes the output up to 215 HP and 460 Nm of torque, an increase of 25 HP and 40 Nm of torque. More details on the eco-friendly Startech Evoque LPG is available in the official press release below.
