If you live in Los Angeles and you are a Star Wars fan, you have multiple reasons to be happy these days. Dodge is celebrating the upcoming premiere of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, which will screen in theaters worldwide on December 18, by taking over the streets of L.A. with three of their cars wrapped especially for this event.
There is a First Order Stormtrooper-themed white Dodge Charger SRT Hellcats and a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, plus one Kylo Ren-inspired Dodge Viper ACR.

This action has been part of FCA US’ partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm to co-promote the much-adored and eagerly awaited movie.

Between December 11 and 14, fans have been able to take pictures and videos of the cars and even track their location live on Twitter by using the hashtags #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens. The best pictures can then be seen on the Dodge Instagram or Facebook pages.

Lucasfilm first announced its partnership with FCA US and other six global brands to promote the upcoming picture back in August.

What’s more, this is not the first event of this kind. In September, to mark the launch of the Hot Wheels Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys on the market, the well-known toy-cars builder joined forces with Uber to give customers free rides in a fleet of 2015 Dodge Charger Stormtroopers edition.

Unfortunately, it was a very limited experience, as the cars took over Manhattan only from 9 AM to 5 PM in one single day, but there were a lot of lucky fans arriving at their destinations in the specially wrapped vehicles.

Also in November, the Fiat brand displayed a custom-painted Fiat 500e Stormtrooper at the Los Angeles Auto Show, a model inspired by the armor of the First Order Legion.

Only a few days remain until the world premiere of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so fans are waiting to get a taste of the much-expected movie.
