Star Motorcycles Shows the 2014 Bolt

It looks like we were right speculating that the new bike Star Motorcycles have been teasing was to be a medium-displacement class machine, at least for the cruiser standards. Well, the Bolt, for that is the name of the new Star is a rather nifty 58 cu in (942 cc) fuel injected v-twin beast with a ton of attitude.
We also get now what Star meant by the "less is more slogan", especially as we look at the price: $8,290 (€6,380) for an almost liter-class bobber-dragster is real bargain, given the quality specs Star have gotten us acquainted to. And that's for the higher-specced R model! The basic Bolt is $7,990 (€6,150).

Star Bolt will be available in Matte Gray and Camo Green for the R-spec and Raven or Pearl White for the basic version. Nice move from Star in the middleweight segment, we're looking forward to see how it fares. We'll be back with more extensive data on both bikes.
