Stanced Toyota Hilux Is Made for Drifting

OK, when I first saw a picture of this Toyota Hilux, I felt something was fishy... I’ve seen stanced Toyota pickups but none of them had a rollcage.

Then I some research and found out it was built for drift. Actually, only the outer shell is from a Toyota, the underneath being made from scratch.

The car will be raced by Nigel Petrie in the 2014 New Zealand Nationals drift championship and it is built around a specially designed spaceframe, wearing the Hilux body as a stylish coat on the outside.

The whole car was engineered for drifting, having a highly tuned engine, suspension and all the things needed for racing.
